Vorotnavank

Vorotnavank is one of the largest monastic complexes in the Syunik region. It began to be built in the 10th century, but was also continued later. It includes two churches, gavit (narthex), arches, communal buildings, as well as a 14th-century hotel that indicates that this place was still famous in medieval times for its hospitality. The view  from the monastery, the unmatched nature of Syunik, is reminiscent of the work of a famous painter.
