Urasar

The highest point of the Bazum mountain range mountain Urasar (2992 meters) is located at the border of Lori and Shirak regions. The nature is mountainous, wet, typical for the general environment of the Lori region. The mountain range has a uniqueness: it loves to hug the clouds, and often climbing up to the top of Urasar you appear above the clouds.

Icy sources come out from the slopes of the mountain, which, unlike many other mountains, don’t dry out all year round and merging with the rivers descend to nearby villages. The fauna is active, in this area are living bears, foxes, wolves, and cattle breeding is developed on the foots of the mountain.
